Regarding Islamic Administration
The entire religion of Islam is politics in the sense that politics is taming an animal and making him human.
Humans are made greedy, hasty and --- by Allah. If it were not for greed the child would not eat.
In yesterdays majalis we discussed the administration of men and that of Allah. If the human administration is as per the rule of Allah then this is Ok. If you make trustee or elections in the center this should be as per the law of Allah. In the eyes of Allah the one who fears Allah the most is the one worthy of status. Quran and the prophet did not see who is the best statesman and made them governer. Imam Ali called a farmer and made him the governor of Basra. This was based on Taqwa (fear of Allah). Taqwa keeps you on justice and away from oppression.
Islam prohibts oppression. The prophet in his life didn't support any oppressor and he didn't return their salaam. He discouraged oppression and oppressors. In todays time all think that they are oppressed and the oppressor is the opponent. Allah didn't send the Quran to us to memorize it then there would be no ayats that commanded us. He said that the Quran is in clear open Arabic. All can read and all Arabs can understand. The translations what of them? If you are starving and happen to be fasting. You know that dusk is at 6 pm but it is dark outside---. The hunger forced him to believe the dusk and not the clock at home. Similarly men translated the Quran according to their desires and thus the divisions. The one who does commands in opposition with the command of Allah is an oppressor, a disbeliever and one who spreads unrest. These things are clear. The caliphates of Bani Umayya and Bani Abbas gave judgement against the Quran and they are thus opressor, disbeliever and mischeif maker thus they cannot be caliph. Thus they manufactured hadith stating that the ruler will go to heaven for sure. Only he can oppose who knows the basis of who enters heaven and who will go to heaven. Imam Hussain, Zainul Abedeen rose to stop this oppression. Imam Hussain is the commander of the youth of paradise and this is his right.
If someone ejects you from your house he is the oppressor. What will the court demand – proof? You show that you own the house. The oppressor has no such proof. Look at the court of 'Islam'. The people of Bibi Sayedda were removed from Fidak. When she took her complaint then proof was sought from her. When you do not believe the character of the prophet then what will you do with his teaching.
In my opinion Fatima went to ask about Fidak to make oppression evident. Once you know who is the oppressor then you remember the ayat of Ibraheem the representative of Allah cannot be an oppressor.
Her opponents said that they heard a hadith from the prophet that says that all they leave are charity. They are prophets.
Bibi Fatima said that if the prophet has no inheritance then this slave lady with me Umme Ayman was a slave inherited by the prophet from his father. In the Quran it says that Dawood was the inheritor of Suleiman. Then she says you become the inheritor of your father and I do not? This shows that she wanted to make oppression evident.
Bibi Fatima had many other things taken away by oppression. When she asked for Fidak then as she left the court she said that she would not reply to their salaam. There is a haidth of the prophet that Fatima is a piece of his heart and the one who becomes close to her becomes close to me and he who becomes far from her far from the prophet. You may make as much dua as you like but Allah will agree if Fatima agrees.
Oppression is not the foundation of our religion. This is such a great religion that it says do not be oppressor, do not follow one and do not sit quiet when there is oppression. Dua e waritha says that you should curse the oppresor his follower and the one who sits quiet.
Haroon e Makki in the time of Imam Moosa E Kazim is an example. Saffawan E Jammal was a rent a camel owner. He came to the Imam and said that he had rented his camels to Haroon Rashid. The Imam said that oh Safawan do you desire that Haroon return unharmed so that you may get your money. He said yes. The Imam said that you should not be even this close to an oppressor. Right away safawaan sold all his camels. Haroon asked him why he did this. Safawaan said that he was not able to continue the camel business. That is to say he cannot disobey the Imam.
If you have to help an oppressor then you can be with the oppressor as long as you can help the oppressedd. Ali Ibn Waqqin said Haroon wants to make me Vizer. The Imam said if you are able to help the oppressed then you can become Vizer. Ali Ibn Waqqin had not spoken to a person who loved the Imam and when Waqqin went to meet the Imam the Imam didn't meet him until the man went and was forgiven by the shia of the Imam. Ali Ibn Waqqin went to the mans door and knocked his door and sought forgiveness. The man said I forgive you. Ali Ibn Waqqin said let me put my cheek on the ground and then step on my other cheek and grind it in the dirt and then forgive me. The Imam said that those who are my shia are beloved to me.
The person sitting next to you do not put him down he might do intercession for you on the day of judgment. You should make your momins happy and this is ibadat or prayer.
Islam is a cheerful religion that wants all to be happy.
All of you are here in the love of Hussain. This love had dragged many to karbala. Some such as Zafar E Jinn coud not go to karbala. Imam sent him so far that he would not be able to hear Imam's Jinn. From that time till now Jaffer E Jinn would write Ya Hussain and weep until his tears erased the word Hussain.
Zuhar E Khain was a person who followed the caliph of the time. The Imam called this man to his camp. Ali Akber went to call Zuhair. Zuhair realizing who called him went in and sat quitetly in his tent. His wife asked him why are you pensive. He replied if I go and help him what of you after my martydom? His wife sent him and when he returned he was joyful. He said I divorce you my wife. She replied that the family of Husaain be in diffficulty and I go peacefully to Medina – never and she acoompanied him.
Two riders then came to speak to the Imam in private. They spoke to him publicly instead and said that they had left Kufa when Muslims body was being dragged in the streets. Imam Hussain called the orphans of Muslim and kissed them kindly. The children realized that their father had died. The daughter of Muslim was treated so kindly by you moula and Oh Sakina Oh Sakina she cried when the earings were ripped from her ears.
The caravan went forward and spears were seen. When people looked closely they noticed that this was cavalry. The entire army was thirsty. Abbas slaked their thirst and the thirst of all the animals until their thirst was completely slaked.
Hur said that I was commaned to stop you right here. Imam Hussain then led the prayer and Hur ensured that the entire army read salaat behind Imam Hussain. Hur stopped the horse of Imam Hussain after the salaat. When he stepped forward Imam Hussain said may your mother cry in your grief. Hur said that Oh moula I cannot say the same thing back to you as your mother is Fatima. Hur then followed moula until they reached the battle ground of karbala. Moula changed 7 horses and none of them would move forward. Moula asked what place is this and they replied that this is karbala. Moula said this place was made for us and we for this place.
On the day of Ashoor Hur paced in front of his tent. He said do you not hear the cries of thirsty children in the desert? He went to the slave who gave water to the animals and said did you give water to your animals and the house of Zehra is hungry and thirsty.
Hur took his brother and son with him and the small caravan went to Imam Hussain and had his hands tied as these hands had stopped Hussain. He was also blindfolded. Imam Hussain had already come forward. Hur threw himself at moula's feet and asked forgiveness. Moula said I and my Allah forgive you oh Hur.
Moula said that when you came as enemy I could slake your thirst and today----.
